Meet Our Staff

Elisabeth Jones, Executive Director

Elisabeth Jones is the Executive Director of Fircrest Senior Living, where she has been a dedicated leader since 2015. Known as "Beth" to her friends, she grew up in McMinnville and Newberg, Oregon, and developed a strong work ethic from her first job at Burgerville at the age of 14. This early experience taught her the value of dependability, a trait she carries into her professional life.

Beth began her career in long-term care in 2002, inspired by her grandmother and a deep love for the elderly. She is passionate about advocating for those who cannot advocate for themselves, a commitment that is evident in her compassionate leadership at Fircrest.

Beth is grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of many.

Outside of work, Beth enjoys reading, visiting the beach, camping with her grandchildren, and cherishes the timeless charm of Mary Poppins. Her personal motto is, "take care of yourself so you can care for others." Beth hopes to be remembered for her kindness and believes in the importance of having fun and holding loved ones close, as time moves too quickly.

Lena Auvil, RN, BSN, Resident Services Director

Lena Auvil, RN, BSN, is the Resident Services Director with a passion for nursing and working with seniors. Lena earned her Associate’s Degree in Nursing in 2017 and went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree in 2020. Growing up in McMinnville, she was inspired by her parents' hard work and dedication to provide a good life for their children. As a first- generation college graduate, Lena takes pride in her educational achievements and the values instilled in her by her family.

Lena’s journey in healthcare began at the age of 16, working as a CNA in a Skilled Nursing Facility, where she discovered her love for the field despite its challenges. She lives by the life lessons, “think before you speak” and “let it be and pray about it.” Currently, Lena is working towards her ANCC Gerontological Nursing Certificate, furthering her commitment to providing exceptional care for seniors.

Lena is grateful for her husband’s steadfast support and admires her mother above all others. She enjoys spending time with her husband and five daughters, and their annual family camping trip in the North Bend/Coos Bay area is a cherished tradition. Lena is also learning to play the drums and bass guitar to fulfill her husband’s dream of having a family band.

Her personal motto, taken from Matthew 10:16b, “be as wise as snakes and harmless as doves,” reflects her approach to life. Lena has overcome many obstacles to reach where she is today and hopes to be remembered as kind, compassionate, and a great friend.

Lisa Crawford, Lead Medication Technician

Lisa Crawford is the Lead Medication Technician and has been an integral part of the Fircrest team since 2018. Growing up in Sheridan, Oregon, Lisa was influenced by her Nana and her dad, who instilled in her strong values and a sense of responsibility. Her first job at Taco Bell taught her valuable lessons in customer service, teamwork, responsibility, and leadership.

Lisa discovered her passion for caring for others while looking after her father after he fractured his hip. She embraces the philosophy that "failure is part of success" and believes that setbacks are opportunities for growth. Known for her resilience and ability to overcome obstacles, Lisa is grateful for each day and lives by the motto: "Today is all we are promised, live it like it was your last day."

Passionate about her family and her job, Lisa admires her boss for her kindness and understanding. She loves snow and enjoys traveling to snowy destinations. Lisa wants to be remembered for being authentic and true to herself, never pretending to be anything she’s not. With a "way bigger heart than what she might show," Lisa’s dedication and genuine nature shine through in all she does.

Born in Long Beach, California, he said his dad and grandparents were the biggest influences in his life, shaping the values, character, and work ethic that still guide him. His first job as a lifeguard taught him to focus on detail, responsibility, and safety—lessons that have stuck with him and still shape how he leads in the kitchen.

Alan says that his love of food and feeding people is what got him into this career, and that passion is still at the core of everything he does. In his free time, he enjoys Legos, music, driving, being at the beach, and spending time with his kids. They are the pride of his life. Guided by honesty and accountability, Alan strives to create great experiences for others and hopes people will remember him not just for his food, but also for his laughter and positive energy.

A native of Oregon, she grew up in Eugene, inspired by her parents, Roger and Ellen. She is a proud mother of three, whom she affectionately calls her "favorite humans," and she cherishes her husband, Bob, for his unwavering love and patience.

Her adventurous spirit led her to attend a private college in Alaska, where she even took flying lessons. Outside of work, Kimberly finds joy in gardening, hosting loved ones for meals, and creating meaningful moments with family and friends.

She hopes to be remembered as someone who uplifted others, always striving to encourage, listen, and support those around her.

He values the perspective that "differences make the world great." His favorite place he’s lived is North Dakota.

Influenced deeply by his parents, Dwight learned discipline and respect from his father and empathy and kindness from his mother. His first job as a computer company intern taught him the value of attention to detail, and his passion for long-term care began in college, where he discovered how "the smallest things make the biggest difference in the lives of residents."

Dwight believes life's most valuable achievements require effort. He admires his father for instilling curiosity and thirst for knowledge. When not working, he enjoys sports, exercise, and specifically the Oregon Ducks and the NBA. Dwight is proud that he has "maintained the ability to perform a back flip at his advanced age."

Dwight wants others to know he is always available for residents and the team he leads. His personal motto is "learn one new thing every day, big or small," and he hopes to be remembered for caring about others and living a life of purpose.

Tony Calderon-Nambo, Environmental Services Director

This shaped his strong work ethic and belief that "nothing in life is handed to you—you have to earn it."

When he’s not working, Tony enjoys the gym as a place to focus, challenge himself, and clear his mind. Though quiet at first, he’s known to open up once comfortable. He values the connections he builds with others and strives to make a positive impact in his community. Whether through his work or personal life, Tony has dedicated himself to helping others and promoting compassion, respect, and hard work.
